Katharine
Untch has over 20 years experience in the conservation
of three-dimensional art and archaeological materials
with particular strengths in project management, analysis,
treatment design, and hands-on applications. A Fellow
of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC),
she has extensive experience with outdoor sculpture
and monuments conservation as well as a variety of
materials in both interior and exterior contexts including
metals, glass, ceramics, stone, concrete, plaster,
wood, and decorative surfaces. Having served as the
AIC Board Director of Professional Education, and
as Project Specialist at the Getty Conservation Institute,
she expanded continuing education opportunities for
conservators nationally and internationally. |
